Dr. Erica DeFabio is excited to fulfill her dream of joining her father in practice. A New Jersey native, Dr. Erica DeFabio is happy to be back in the Garden State after her years of education and training. Dr. Erica DeFabio attended the Rumson Country Day School and Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School before attending college. She graduated from Georgetown University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. Her academic excellence earned her induction into Sigma Theta Tau, the Honor Society of Nursing.
Dr. Erica DeFabio attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2008. Dr. Erica DeFabio was recipient of the Dr. Frank Frates Outstanding Clinician Award, an honor given to the best clinician in the graduating class.
Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Erica DeFabio completed a one-year General Practice Residency at the Manhattan Veterans Affairs Medical Center. She continued at the Manhattan VAMC for an additional three years, completing a residency in the specialty of Prosthodontics. In her final year, Dr. Erica DeFabio was appointed Chief Resident of the Dental Service.
With her unique nursing background and training in the specialty of Prosthodontics, Dr. Erica DeFabio is able to use her gentle chair-side manner to treat patients with complex restorative needs.
Dr. Erica. DeFabio maintains professional memberships with the American Dental Association, American College of Prosthodontists, New Jersey Dental Association and Monmouth-Ocean County Dental Society.
